Nau mai, Haere Mai, ki He Puawaitanga ki te Kura Tuatahi ō Takaka,
If you are considering bilingual education for your tamariki, TPS now offer a bilingual pathway.
Regarding the criteria for He Puawaitanga, we have a series of factors we consider (and ask parents to consider) when whānau are considering making the commitment to becoming part of the whānau:
- A connection and commitment to Te Āo Māori - be it through whakapapa, whenua, whānau or Reo (eg, Whānau already in the hub)
- Parent/Whānau independent commitment to learning Te Reo Māori
-A commitment to participating and contributing to the hubs, eg, parent/whānau help with fundraising, supporting with resources, attending hui as requested and participating/supporting noho marae.
